Cyberpsychology and Schools: Helping Students Overcome Worries

This project aims to meet the needs of children suffering from anxiety in an efficient and effective way by introducing the use of cybertechnology into current psychological treatments for anxiety. Cyberpsychology and Schools will evaluate virtual reality exposure specifically targeting social anxiety in an adolescent sample (most prevalent mental health concern in this age group) in a school setting. Currently the project is supplemented by a funded CFI award, the Cyberpsychology and Anxiety Virtual Lab (CCA Virtual Lab).
